Nicholas Ooi
Nicholas OOI (Nick/Nicholas) is a dedicated innovation leader, educator, and entrepreneur for social good. He currently serves as the Founder and CEO of Further & Not Limited and Co-founder of Audacity Limited.
Prior to his current ventures, Nick was an Innovation Lead at the Centre for Innovative Service-Learning, specifically with TriAngle, at Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU). In this role, he was instrumental in promoting Social Innovation and fostering an innovative and entrepreneurial culture on campus. Additionally, he was a co-founding member of the Lingnan Entrepreneurship Initiative at Lingnan University (LU), focusing on impactful co-creation and collaborations with the stakeholders. Since 2017, Nick has successfully mentored and incubated more than 80 social enterprises and NGOs in their ideation stages.
As a seasoned expert in Design Innovation, Nick has conducted over 100 workshops worldwide. His pedagogical approach is heavily influenced by his advanced training at Stanford d.School (Teaching and Learning Studio) and an invited Faculty Innovation Fellow in 2020, and the MIT D-Lab (Participatory Design Training). Nick's influence extends across the Asia Pacific region.
